• WCC advocacy results in Meadowlands Sports Complex instituting new policies to stop disrespect of women at Jets home games.

• Urged Governor Paterson to sign Safe Harbor for Exploited Children Act that has been passed by both the Senate and Assembly.

• Wrote Secretary of Health and Human Services opposing draft regulations that would undermine NYS laws that ensure women’s access to reproductive health services, and could drastically reduce access to contraceptive care in our state and across the country.

• Wrote Congressional representatives urging their support of the Paycheck Fairness Act.

• Joined AARP’s “Divided We Fail” nonpartisan, national campaign to promote the need for access to affordable, quality health care and lifetime financial security for Americans.
